The customer satisfaction department received a request to unify data sources and move offline processed SQL queries from Bria Hyperion Oracle to IBM's dynamic BI online tool Cognos. I was selected as a member of a close team that oversaw the data transformation. My task was to create UAT tests, check whether the data fits between the old and the new system, and enter SQL queries for the database programmers. Overall, I had to study the entire functionality of the new tool and test it on specific cases for the transformation to succeed.

Benefit for the company

The biggest benefit of the transition to a new tool was to unify data sources and offer an online solution with the possibility of acceptable visual content. A by-product was the transition from licensed other tools from competing companies to an internal tool without additional expenses, which was achieved after about a year of effort.
